surprising things in the Jesada Technik Museum in Nakhonphathom, Thailand

Looks like a coal burning conversion, I've never seen one before, but I have seen a wood burning truck conversion for the cold climates of Russia
I believe the above is a Tempo Matador
Not sure if this is a Tempo Matador, but it looks like one that has had the hand made wooden door and bed treatment

See a couple of galleries of all the bikes, scooters, and cars at the Jesada on the http://6nicestpeople9.blogspot.com/

the 1929 Caproni Ca.90, a six-engined inverted sesquiplane. In 1929 it was the largest aircraft in the world, it held that record until 1934
A six-engined inverted sesquiplane designed as a heavy bomber, read more about it and see a couple more photos at: http://dieselpunks.blogspot.com/2010/07/italian-giant.html

It's that rare occasion when I found an image, and knew that the object is in a local musuem... The Ryan X-13
Ryan x-13, possibly the only vertical launch, and vertical landing aircraft. How they landed that ono it's hook to tower.. I'm sure ground control must have helped instructionsabove photo via http://zelastchancegaragedu78.blogspot.com/

Duct tape, the wonder tool!
During a private "fly-in" fishing excursion in the Alaskan wilderness, the chartered pilot and fishermen left a cooler and bait in the plane. And a bear smelled it. This is what he did to the plane

The pilot used his radio and had another pilot bring him 2 new tires, 3 cases of duct tape, and a supply of sheet plastic. He patched the plane together, and FLEW IT HOME! Thanks Mike for emailing me this! For more photos of the bear damage and what seems to be the source of the photos http://www.armyparatrooper.org/dropzone/showthread.php/22477-The-Many-uses-of-Duct-Tape-in-Alaska
