A LOT of Americans made automobiles in 1900-1930, here are a some, a couple of them I've never heard of

1895 Electrobat II... and for the trivia buffs, it was the winner of the first car race in America

Geronimo's Cadillac is how it was presented, but I doubt that he owned it... it's probably a photo op planned picture

Teddy Roosevelt in a Fawick Flyer at the Sioux Falls Railroad Depot. Only 5 were ever built
A Moosejaw Standard

A Saxon

1915 Monroe

1916 Woods Mobilette

1917 Apperson Jack Rabbit

This is a 1917 Geronimo

1920 Barley Roamer roadster

1923 Arkansas Climber

1952 Maverick

A Powell, made in LA
All of these are only a fraction of the interesting defunct manufacturers on the Jalopy Journal thread that challenged car guys every where to post photos and information about car makers that went out of business long ago: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=397594

Hetfield's new motorcycle

BBNH tumbler has a couple of cool images I felt the need to share

Don't they realize they need to do some chassis work?

Kurt Russell movie still from the Deathproof movie... one of the coolest car chase scenes with a new innovative idea

Must be impressively loud and unusual sounding

Hugh Chisholm's 1934 woody, more than one US President are connected to it and Hugh Chisholm... because he also had a 243' yacht in the DC area

Hugh was very very rich, and had a very very big yacht built... so nice that when the Presidential yacht USS Potomac was deemed unfit for open water duty, the US Navy decided the next best yacht (or the best, as we just read that the Potomac wasn't in good condition) was Hugh's private yacht that had been custom built for him by the Bath Iron Works (same shipyard that built submarines for the US Navy)

" President Truman spent more time aboard than any president spent on a presidential yacht "

New movie with muscle cars, action throughout, and Dwayne Johnson playing a tough guy for a change, think 80's action flick

http://www.fasterthemovie.com/#/splash/trailer loads a lot faster in Google Chrome than Internet Explorer (ridiculously slow)

After 10 years in prison, Driver (Dwayne Johnson) has a singular focus -- to avenge the murder of his brother during the botched bank robbery that led to his imprisonment. Now a free man with a deadly to do list in hand, he’s finally on his mission, but with two men on his trail, a veteran cop (Billy Bob Thornton) just days from retirement and a young egocentric hitman with a flair for the art of killing and a newfound worthy opponent. The hunter is also the hunted. It’s a do or die race to the list’s finish as the mystery surrounding his brother’s murder deepens, and new details emerge along the way hinting that Driver’s list may be incomplete.

In theaters November 24th

Two-Lane Blacktop (1971)

“Make it three yards, motherfucker, and we’ll have us an automobile race.”
from http://iwdrm.tumblr.com/post/1554502899 (If we don't, remember me (tumbler)) the coolest thing I've found in days.

Click through the link, each of the images is a "gif " and moves just a little bit, but in the right way at the right time to capture a cool moment in a movie

Rampage Jackson (plays BA Baracus in the new A Team movie) unveiled his personal A Team van at SEMA, had the whole crew that built it there to thank

having a celeb, especially a movie star, have a press conference unveiling really drew a big crowd

Kenny Wayne Sheppard's newest Mopar, and the only one he didn't build, but was built for him (merry Xmas!) from car guys at Chrysler's Mopar division

The logo with the guitar pick design is by Chip Foose, who also did the Duster's design for Kenny http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/02/you-may-have-seen-this-in-car-craft-or.html

The above decal is the business card (pun intended) of the engineers (think of the original Ramchargers guys) that survived (if I recall correctly what I was told) the Chrysler problems, bankruptcy, and mergers of Benz, Cerebus, and now Fiat. Mopar Twenty One is also described as hard core hot rodders and their job, as well as their spare time obsession, is to design and build bitchin' hot rods and off-road trucks with an eye on production. (So says Hot Rod magazine)
